Zoran’s life is marked by routine, isolation, and missed opportunities for connection. He lives with a friend who spends his days smoking weed, working night shifts, and watching reality TV. Distant from his ex-girlfriend, Zoran drifts through a monotonous rhythm – until everything changes when his estranged father is diagnosed with a terminal illness. Tasked with caring for him in his final weeks, Zoran confronts past conflicts, generational divides, and his own emotional barriers.

Yugo Florida is an intimate, human story about reconciliation, family bonds, and the unexpected moments that bring us closer to the people we once misunderstood. The titular car serves as a metaphor for life itself – imperfect, unpredictable, and occasionally absurd.

Vladimir Tagić

Vladimir Tagić is a Serbian film director and screenwriter. He graduated from the Faculty of Dramatic Arts in Belgrade, where he developed his foundation in filmmaking and storytelling. Tagić began his career with short films, gaining international recognition with his award‑winning short Emergency Exit (2014), which was screened at the Cannes Film Festival and more than 30 international festivals worldwide. Over the years, he has worked extensively in television, creating, writing, and directing several notable Serbian series. Yugo Florida (2025) marks Tagić’s feature film debut.
