DON’T LET ME DIE Romania-Bulgaria-France, 2025, 108 min, color

Maria wanders through a seaside town for the burial of her enigmatic neighbor Isabela, who may or may not have been able to talk to trees. As the nights grow longer, she adopts Isabela's dogs, meets her son, and encounters a woodcutter who is afraid of sleep.

“This film is a commemoration of a life that left behind ambiguous traces. Slightly divergent in tone, it oscillates between semi-comedy and semi-horror, with a touch of doom jazz.”
